Mitzi joined Forum Tax & Accounting Services, LLC in December 2021. She has been working in public accounting with PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP as well as Private Family Offices for over 20 years. Mitzi’s specialization has been in preparation, review, and consulting of high net-worth individuals as it relates to their personal taxes. She has earned her Enrolled Agent designation and is in the process of obtaining her Certified Public Accountant designation.

Mitzi is a graduate of Dominican University in River Forest, IL with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. She lives in Oak Park and enjoys cooking, working out, and spending time with family.

Ann Marie joined Forum Tax & Accounting Services, LLC in January, 2020. She began her career working as a regional controller for a corporate entertainment and production firm. She shifted her career to public accounting in 2003 and earned her Enrolled Agent designation in 2013. Ann Marie specializes in small business accounting, consulting, and tax preparation and planning for small businesses and their owners.

Ann Marie earned her BA in Accounting from North Central College in Naperville, IL. She and her husband, John, live in Lombard where they raised two boys. In her free time, she enjoys live music and spending time with family and friends.

Rachel has been a familiar face around the office for years, but as of August 2020 she officially joined the Forum Tax and Accounting team. Rachel has 10 years of leadership experience, managing the finances of numerous small business entities throughout her career.

Rachel attended Arizona State University earning her B.S. in Organizational Leadership. Currently she lives in Denver, CO with her roommate, Czar —her new puppy. In her free time, she enjoys live music, adventuring outdoors and making jewelry.

Lahoucine Elasli (Leo) specializes in individual and business tax preparation, accounting, and correspondence with the IRS and State Tax Agencies. He earned his CPA in 2017.

Leo received his Master degree in Accounting and Financial Management from Keller Graduate School of Management in 2009. Leo Lives in Wheaton, IL. He enjoys working out, biking on the weekends, and going for long walks outdoors.

Marina has been with Forum Tax and Accounting Services, LLC since September 2014. She has been working in public accounting since 2007 and earned her CPA in 2010. Marina specializes in business and individual tax return preparation, accounting, and consulting.

Marina is a graduate of DePaul University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. She received her Master of Science in Accounting from the Keller Graduate School of Management. She lives with her husband, John, and two kids, Paul and Anastasia, in Palos Heights.

Isabella recently joined the Forum Tax & Accounting Services, LLC as the firm merged with Pinnacle Financial Solutions PC where she worked for 2 years prior. She is a support specialist and office event coordinator that works remotely part-time. She is currently studying and pursuing a double major in accountancy and information systems at the Gies College of Business in the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Ann joined Forum Tax & Accounting Services, LLC in 2007 as a staff accountant, and has over 25 years of accounting experience in multiple industries. She works with a variety of small to mid-size companies in multi states providing accounting, payroll, and bookkeeping services. Prior to joining Forum, Ann worked in the accounting groups for a futures brokerage firm and the brokerage division of large international bank.

Ann has her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Northeastern Illinois University.

Matthew recently joined Forum Tax & Accounting Services, LLC as the firm merged with Pinnacle Financial Solutions. He has worked in office management for over 1 year, processing data, resolving local IT issues, bookkeeping, management of office bills and policies, and overseeing organizational workflow.

Matthew graduated from University of Illinois Chicago with a bachelors in Criminal Justice and a bachelors and English. He lives in Irving Park, a neighborhood in Chicago IL. He enjoys craft beer and spirits, movie nights with his wife Kat, and is a teacher of mushroom foraging and identification, leading classes and forays around the Northern Illinois area.

Manju is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) from the US as well as India. His degrees include a MSA (Masters in Accountancy), MBA, and PhD (Management). His research interests are in cost and management accounting. He has published two research articles in the Management Accountancy journal of the Institute of Management Accountants, “Exploring the role of Standard Costing in Lean Enterprises” and “Do Lean Initiatives have Adequate Accounting Support?”.

In his current position, he does bookkeeping and individual taxes. His hobbies include yoga, biking, meditation and Eastern Spirituality, and learning South Indian Classical- Carnatic Vocal.

Sandi joined the Forum Tax & Accounting Services, LLC team after coming from Pinnacle Financial Solutions, where she worked for 6 years.

Sandi has extensive experience with private corporations and public accounting in a variety of industries and sizes. Her background includes accounting, budgeting, financial statement compilation and analysis, taxes and tax planning, IRS/State correspondence, Payroll, sales tax and has worked with a variety of software applications.

Sandi is a graduate of the University of Illinois – Champaign/Urbana with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and earned her CPA. She enjoys gardening and spending time with her two cats, Stormy and Milo.

Roger Scalise is a manager with Forum Tax and Accounting Services, LLC. Roger has worked in public accounting for over 20 years. Roger works with small business clients and individuals on tax planning & preparation.

Roger is a graduate of University of Illinois-Chicago with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Roger is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Karen has been working with Forum Tax and Accounting Services, LLC since January 2012. She has worked the last 7 years part time doing tax assembly and payroll work. She has 20 years’ experience with small businesses providing bookkeeping, payroll and accounting services. As of September 2019 she is now happy to be full time at Forum Tax and Accounting.

Karen and her fiancé Rick are outdoor enthusiasts, and love hiking, yoga and attending sporting events. She enjoys spending time with her three children Stephan, Christopher and Rachel.
